80's & 90's children were lucky!
Remember these? Unless you lived under a rock or was simply not aloud the luxury of Saturday morning cartoons, you should all be familiar with these classics. I miss the innocence of these cartoons. I miss the wonderful mornings I spent with Mama Bear where she would drink her coffee (always letting me help her make it), my bowl of cheerios and the sound of Dallas (something we watched together each morning before Pink Panther would start) in the background. Times were simpler then. This is back in the day before there were cell phones, lap tops and the constant noise of social media ringing in your ears. When children were mini adventurers and spent their summers outside from sun up to sun down....but that's a whole other topic. Let's get back to some of my favorite cartoon classics!
The Flinstones, Jetsons, Care Bears, Animaniacs, Inspector Gadget, The Smurphs, Yogi the Bear, Looney Tunes (tell me you all remember Space Jam...now that's a funny movie and yes, my kids have watched it), Captain Planet, Pirates of Dark Water (I don't know why...but I just loved it), Doug, Bobby's World, Tales Spin, Rugrats, Hey Arnold, Muppit Babies, Inspector Gadget, Gummy Bears, David the Gnome + way to many to mention. So that my kids can watch these same cartoons, I regularly use YouTube and Netflix as sources to find these hidden gems. What do your kids watch? I know that for me, if I have to watch one more episode of Spongebob or My Little Pony I might actually lose my mind!
